Connected accounts now show which account they are.

Connected accounts used to be listed under an internal handle like "facebook_crown-buy". Now each one shows the account it actually belongs to, so you can tell two accounts of the same platform apart before you add one to a profile.

What you'll see

  • The account name, with the email, store domain or channel underneath it wherever the platform gives us one.
  • Search covers that second line too, so with several mailboxes connected you can find the right one by typing the email address.
  • Existing connections are updated automatically. Nothing to reconnect.

Naming an account yourself

  • Rename any connected account from its detail page. Your name always wins over the one we detected, and clearing it brings the detected name back.
  • A few platforms publish nothing that identifies the account, ServiceM8 and Omnisend among them. Those show a prompt to name the account yourself, and renaming is the answer there.
  • Where a platform identifies the person rather than the business, two accounts held by the same person can look alike. Renaming settles it.

One connection per workspace for some platforms

HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Attio, Zendesk, Intercom, Stripe, Square, Mailchimp, Kit and Omnisend now allow one connection per workspace, matching Xero, QuickBooks, Shopify and ServiceM8. For these platforms an account represents a whole business, so a second one belongs in a second workspace. Connections you already have are unaffected and keep working.
