0.5.0
BetaControl what each person can see and do.
Members now see only the profiles they're on, you can adjust any one person's permissions without changing their role, and an invite can be scoped to a single workspace instead of your whole account.
Members see only the profiles they're on
The Profiles page used to show every profile in the workspace to everyone in it, including each endpoint URL. Now owners and admins see all of them, and a member sees only the profiles they created or were assigned to.
Assign someone to a profile and it appears for them. Nothing else about profile access has changed: pointing an AI client at an endpoint has always required being assigned to it.
A member can still open a profile someone else built, but the fields are read only and there is no delete. Before, the page looked fully editable and only refused when you hit save.
Permissions, per person
A role sets someone's starting capabilities. On any member's row in Settings, Members, there's now a Permissions panel to switch individual capabilities on or off for that one person, without changing their role or touching anyone else.
The case this was built for: someone outside your business who should use the endpoints you give them and nothing more. Leave them as a member, then switch off creating profiles, editing their own profiles, and connecting platforms. They keep working with whatever you assign and can no longer build, change, or connect anything.
It works upward too. You can hand one member a single admin job, like sending connect links, without making them an admin.
Billing, account settings, and promoting owners always follow the role and are locked in the panel. Changing someone's role resets their adjustments to that role's defaults.
Invite someone to one workspace, not everything
The invite form now asks what the person gets access to: your whole account, or one workspace. Whole account was previously the only option, and it quietly includes any workspace you add later, so an outside contractor could end up in workspaces nobody added them to.
Scope shows on pending invites and on the members list, and the invite email tells the recipient which one they're accepting. Scope is set when you invite; to change it, remove the person and invite them again.
Also
- Both switcher buttons now read "Create a workspace". If you're a member of someone else's workspace and make your own, you're taken through setup instead of landing in a half-configured account.
- Settings pages you can't reach now say so, rather than sitting on a spinner.
