Connectors
A connector is a vendor integration. FloConnector ships 50+ of them, across CRM, marketing, email, accounting, and field service, with more added over time. It is worth separating two ideas that sound alike.
Catalog vs connection
- The catalog is what FloConnector offers: the directory of connectors and their tools. It is the same for everyone.
- A connection is what your workspace has live: one authorised vendor org, created when you connect.
You browse the catalog, then create a connection from it. The catalog entry is the definition; your connection is the instance.
How connectors are delivered
Composio connectors
Most of the catalog. Composio manages the OAuth and the underlying tools, which is how FloConnector covers 50+ vendors so quickly.
Native connectors
A few, like Xero, where FloConnector talks to the vendor directly for tighter control over data and tools.
Which path a connector uses does not change how you connect it or what you get: an authorised connection you can put behind a profile. A few connectors are premium and available on the paid plans, see Premium connectors.
Single vs multiple connections
Each connection is a single vendor organisation or account. Whether a workspace can hold more than one connection to the same vendor depends on the connector:
Single connection
One connection per workspace. These are org-scoped tools — an accounting or field-service platform where a second organisation is a different business. Xero is an example. It carries a Single badge in the directory, and once you have connected it, the workspace won't offer a second.
Multiple connections
As many as you need. These are seat-scoped tools — mailboxes, calendars, social and ad accounts — where running several at once is normal. Use Add account to connect another.
To expose a second organisation from a single-connection vendor, connect it in a separate workspace. Running many workspaces is part of the agency setup — see Workspaces.
Connecting a vendor does not, by itself, expose its tools to anyone. Tools reach your AI client only through a profile that pins the connection. See Tool loading.
