Connect Claude

Claude talks to FloConnector over MCP. You add your profile's endpoint as a custom connector, sign in once with your FloConnector account, and the profile's tools show up in Claude ready to call.

Before you start

You need two things: a connected platform and a profile. The profile is what Claude actually points at, and it decides which tools are exposed. If you do not have one yet, see Connect a connector and Create a profile.

Custom connectors are available on Claude's paid plans. You can add one from the Claude web app or the desktop app; the connector follows your account either way, so adding it once is enough.

Copy your endpoint

Open the profile in your FloConnector dashboard and copy its endpoint. It looks like this:

https://mcp.floconnector.com/{workspace}/{profile}

Add it in Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector.
  3. Give it a name you will recognise, such as your workspace name, and paste the profile endpoint as the URL.
  4. Save, then choose Connect on the new connector. Claude opens the FloConnector sign-in page.
  5. Sign in with the email on your FloConnector account and approve access to the profile. Claude loads the profile's tools.
Sign-in, not sign-up

The connect flow only signs you in to an existing FloConnector account. It never creates one. Make your account in the dashboard first.

Make the first call

Ask Claude to do something the profile can actually do, for example "pull my unpaid invoices and summarise who owes the most". Claude picks the tools it needs and the calls appear in your dashboard's Activity view within a few seconds.

If Claude does not seem to reach for your tools, name the connector in the prompt once ("using my FloConnector tools, ...").

If something goes wrong

Warning

If Claude connects but no tools appear, disconnect and reconnect the connector once. If it still shows nothing, check in the dashboard that the connection behind the profile is still connected and that you are an assigned member of the profile. See Common issues.

Claude Desktop can occasionally sit on Connect after the sign-in has already succeeded. Check the dashboard: if the profile shows the grant, the connection is live and restarting the desktop app clears the stale button.
