Add FloConnector to your AI

Your AI client talks to FloConnector over MCP. You add your profile's endpoint as a custom connector, sign in once, and the profile's tools appear in the client. This works with any client that supports custom MCP connectors.

Pick your client

Each guide below has a short walkthrough video and the exact steps for that client.

The rest of this page is the generic shape, for a client that is not one of the three above.

Copy your endpoint

Each profile has its own URL, shaped like this:

https://mcp.floconnector.com/{workspace}/{profile}

Open the profile in the dashboard and copy its endpoint. If you have not made a profile yet, see Create a profile. The {workspace} and {profile} segments are the slugs shown on the profile.

Add it in your client

The exact wording varies by client, but the shape is the same.

  1. Open your client's connector settings and choose to add a custom connector or MCP server. In Claude, that is Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  2. Paste your profile endpoint and save.
  3. The client walks you through sign-in. Approve access to the profile, and it loads the profile's tools.
Sign-in, not sign-up

The connect flow only signs you in to an existing FloConnector account. It never creates one. Make your account in the dashboard first.

Make the first call

Ask the client something the profile can do, for example "add this new sign-up to my CRM and draft a welcome email". It calls the tools it needs; where a job takes several steps, FloConnector's harness makes the underlying vendor calls and threads the ids for you. See How FloConnector works.

If tools do not appear

Warning

If the client connects but the tools do not show up straight away, disconnect and reconnect the connector once. If a profile keeps showing no tools, check in the dashboard that the connection behind it is still connected and that you are an assigned member of the profile. See Common issues.
