Assign members
Access to a profile is granted to individual people. This is deliberate: it lets you share a Xero connection widely while keeping each person's endpoint scoped to what they should touch.
Add or remove members
- Open the profile and go to its Members list.
- Add a teammate who is already in the workspace. They can now use the profile's endpoint in their own AI client.
- Remove anyone who no longer needs it. Their endpoint stops working immediately.
Being an admin or owner lets you edit a profile's member list. It does not automatically add you to every profile. If you want access to a profile, you (or another admin) add you to it explicitly. The person who created a profile is a member from the start.
What a member sees
This list also controls what appears on a member's Profiles page. Owners and admins see every profile in the workspace; a member sees only the profiles they created or were assigned to. Adding someone here makes the profile show up for them, along with its endpoint URL.
Members can open a profile they did not create, but not change it. The fields are read only and there is no delete, so you can share an endpoint without handing over control of what it exposes.
Not in the workspace yet?
You can only assign people who are already members of the workspace. Invite them first, see Invite a teammate, then add them to the profile.
