Invite a teammate
Bring colleagues into your workspace to share connections and give them their own profile endpoints.
Send an invite
- Open Members in your workspace and choose Invite.
- Enter their email and pick the role they should hold, see Roles.
- Choose what they get access to: Whole account, or one workspace.
- They get an email link. Opening it adds them and, if they are new to FloConnector, creates their user on the spot.
Whole account or one workspace
The scope you pick decides how far the invite reaches, and it is worth a moment's thought when the person is not one of your own staff.
- Whole account gives them their role in every workspace on the account, including workspaces you create later. Right for your own team.
- One workspace pins them to that workspace and nothing else. Right for a contractor, an agency, or anyone outside your business. They will not see your other workspaces, and a new workspace does not reach them.
The invite email tells the person which of the two they are accepting, and pending
invites show their scope in the list so you can revoke and resend if you picked
wrong. You can see the scope of everyone already in the account on the Members
tab, where each row reads either "Whole account" or "Scoped to {workspace}".
An accepted invite's scope cannot be edited afterwards. To change someone's reach, remove them and invite them again with the scope you want.
An invite grants workspace membership immediately once accepted. It does not, on its own, put the person on any profile. Assign them to the profiles they need, see Assign members.
Agencies joining a client
If you run an agency, you can be invited into a client's workspace to administer it alongside your own. Your role there is scoped to that workspace: you manage their connections and profiles, but not their account members or billing, and theirs stays separate from yours. See Roles for how account-wide and workspace-scoped standing differ.
