Platforms keep adding things you can do through them, and we keep adding tools to match. Until now a connection only ever offered the tools that existed on the day you connected it. That is fixed, and the dashboard now tells you when something changes.

NewNew tools are switched on automatically

When a platform you have connected gains tools, they are switched on for your connection and for any profile that uses it. You don't need to do anything. If you would rather not expose a new tool, untick it on the connection's page as you would any other.

ChangedYou may see more tools than before

Connections made before a tool was added were not being offered it. Those tools are now switched on too. If a connection you set up a while ago suddenly lists more tools, that is why.

NewSee what is new on each connection

Connections that picked up tools in the last 30 days show how many on the Connectors page, and the tools themselves are marked New on the connection's page. You also get a notification in the bell, and an email if you switch that on.

NewReconnect to unlock

Some new tools need permissions your connection was not granted when you set it up. Those stay locked until you reconnect once to approve them. Everything else keeps working while you wait, reconnecting keeps your tool selection and profiles exactly as they are, and you are told by email and in the dashboard when it applies to you. If your AI client tries a locked tool, it is told to ask you to reconnect rather than failing without a reason.

NewVersions

The version you are running now sits under Settings in the sidebar. A dot appears beside it when there is a release you haven't read yet. Click it to see every release and what changed, here in the dashboard.

NewTwo new notification settings

Settings, then Notifications, has a switch for each of these, per workspace: new tools added to your connections (in the bell by default, email off), and reconnect to unlock new tools (bell and email).
