Xero is one of the most used connections on FloConnector, and it was missing a lot of what people asked their AI to do in it. This release adds 81 Xero tools, and every one of them was tested against a real Xero organisation before it shipped. None of them needs you to reconnect: they are already switched on for your Xero connection.

NewSales, credit and billable expenses

Email an approved invoice to the customer straight from Xero, or get its online link to share yourself. Set up repeating invoices and bills, list them, and delete ones you no longer need. Mark bill lines as billable expenses for a customer, apply a credit note to an invoice and undo it again, and update or delete products and services.

NewPayments, overpayments, prepayments and batch payments

Delete a payment, read overpayments and prepayments and apply their remaining credit to an invoice, and pay several invoices or bills in one batch payment, or delete a batch.

NewBank transfers and contact groups

Move money between your own bank accounts, and read past transfers. Create contact groups and add or remove contacts.

NewYour organisation's settings

Add, change, archive or delete accounts in the chart of accounts. Create and change tax rates, tracking categories and their options. Read your currencies, Xero users, invoice branding themes and whether invoice reminders are on.

NewHistory, notes and attachments

Read who created, changed, approved, emailed or paid a record, and add your own internal notes to invoices, bills, quotes, purchase orders, payments, contacts and more. Your AI can now open files attached to a record: images come back as pictures it can see, CSV and text files as text, and for PDFs and Office files it tells you what the file is and to open it in Xero.

NewMore reports

Aged receivables and aged payables for a customer or supplier, bank summary, budget summary, executive summary, budgets, and your published tax reports.

NewProjects, fixed assets and Files

Create and update projects, close and reopen them, manage their tasks and log, change or delete time. Add fixed assets to the register as drafts and read its settings. Upload to, organise and read from Xero Files, link a file to a record, and find your Files inbox address.

ImprovedClearer errors from Xero

When Xero refuses a change, your AI now gets Xero's actual reason, such as "Please enter a unique Code", instead of a generic validation message.

FixedUploading an attachment could save an empty file

In some cases an attachment upload saved a broken file while reporting success. Uploads now either save the real file or say why they could not. Uploading works best for small files: for a large PDF, add it in Xero directly.

FixedUpdating a quote could clear fields

Xero replaces a quote when it is updated, so a field left out of the update was cleared. Your AI is now told to send every field it wants to keep.

RemovedList journals

This tool never worked: Xero only offers journals to a higher partner tier. It has been removed rather than left failing.
